The communities of Tl’etinqox, Yunesit’in, and TsiDelDel invite all those interested to join us for our exciting Annual Horse and Bike Ride to Williams Lake, taking place from June 18th to June 28th. This tradition, which began with the late Roland Alphonse, has grown to become one of the biggest events of the year for our communities. The ride brings together riders and participants from various backgrounds, offering an unforgettable journey through beautiful landscapes and celebrating our strong connection to the land and each other.

 

Event Schedule:

  • June 16-19: TsiDelDel Riders begin their journey, traveling to Tl’etinqox.

  • Saturday, June 21:Riders from Tl’etinqox and TsiDelDel depart from Tl’etinqox and meet up with Yunesit’in riders at Hanceville, heading toward River Ranch.

  • Sunday, June 21: Riders travel from River Ranch to Tl’esqox.

  • Monday, June 22: Enjoy the Gymkhana & Bike Rodeo, a fun-filled day of skill and competition.

  • Tuesday, June 23: Ride from Tl’esqox to Mcintyre Lake (Meldrum Creek Road).

  • Wednesday, June 24: Travel from Mcintyre Lake (Meldrum Creek Road) to Williams Lake. Pizza and Acknowledgements at the RC Cotton Site after.

  • Saturday, June 27: Celebrate with the Stampede Parade, a community event that marks the culmination of the ride.

 

We welcome participants from all backgrounds to join in this celebration of culture, community, and the spirit of adventure. Whether you're riding a horse or a bike, come be part of this memorable event and experience the beauty of our land and the strength of our communities.

Important Safety Notice:

  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • The guardian must be aware that the child is riding with them, and no more than 4 children per adult.

  • Children under the age of 12 riding alone will not be allowed to ride their bikes or horses until their parent or guardian joins them. Please note, this does not include driving behind them.
